Becauses

It’s because you were interested at the audition. 

Because you ring me to say what else is funny after we’ve finished laughing at the joke. 

It’s because you manage the four conversations I start into one comprehendible sentence.

Because you’ve helped me find a little more patience. (A little more.)

It’s because you give the thumbs up sign when you push  your glasses up your nose. 

Because you asked me to write you an exercise programme (and then didn’t use it).

It’s because you hibernate and I dig you out. 

Because you listen to my romantic woes with one eyebrow raised but no judgement.

It’s because you call me when you still find it a bit tricky.

Because you have helped me bring a dream to life. 

It’s because you feel protective towards me like a brother.

Because sometimes we irritate each other. (Like a brother.)

It’s those becauses. That’s why. That’s all.
